We’ve all heard those words – Everything happens for a reason. I, myself, have tried so many times to find the reasons my children were alienated from me. I begin to think I must have done something so bad that “it happened for a reason.” I’m glad I read this and I am going to read and re-read it until I change my thought process, because my thought process is destructive. I do not think that God is punishing me for the consequences of someone’s else’s freedom of choice.
