Folks, this is no ordinary egg 🥚 . This is a special egg 🥚. This egg 🥚 was laid today by a chicken 🐓 that was traumatized on August 29 when Hurricane Ida roared in and grabbed hold of her cage, rolling it about the yard, and then surviving an attack by the neighbor’s beagle 🐶 that got loose. I was about to start calling those chickens 🐓 🐓pets because we didn’t think they’d ever lay another egg 🥚 . Today, an egg 🥚 was laid. It’s a good day!
It’s an egg kind of day!

Yes! So spoiled! We had another friend whose chicken coop was literally picked up and deposited over a fence in to the neighbor’s yard. His aren’t laying again yet either. Weird things happened in this storm!
