Yes, mine does too. And NOT just on occasion! All the time! I don’t know about you, but keeping up with several email accounts can put a dent in the day. While I was purging and unsubscribing from various sites, I began wondering how many people only have one email account and how many have more than one.
I have seven email accounts (explanation found below). Personal, Etsy business, blog, public (I am on various boards and commissions), hubby’s email (which he proudly exclaims to have, but his wife checks it), Construction/Rental business, and a financial email (only financials). Some of the emails are no problem because they are one task oriented. The two that give me trouble (of my own making) are my personal and my blog email. I am in the habit of subscribing mostly through my blog email so it is the absolute worst. This week I have endeavored to correct the problem and I was surprised at the amount of time it is taking – I shouldn’t be, considering the number of sites I so obviously subscribed to!
Anyone else have this problem? It can’t be just me! You read a blog and think, WOW! This has good information! Subscribe! Then, you proceed to delete almost every email you receive stating that a new post has gone live. Well, no more! My new action of the week is UNSUBSCRIBE! Hopefully, by the year 2025, I will have my email situation under control!
My advice to others is not to subscribe unless you REALLY REALLY need to.

My emails
Personal – probably needs no explanation. We all have one.
Etsy business – again, needs no explanation. It is for my Etsy shop.
Blog – used for blog correspondence with authors, publishers, etc. and has become the dark hole of subscribing to YouTube and blogs and things I have no clue about!
Construction/Rental business – our business.
Pubic – for correspondence dealing with various boards and commissions I am currently on. My idea behind this email is once I am off of all boards/commissions is to delete it. It only serves to keep public business where my email must be posted and used, separate from my personal life.
Hubby – Sweet, sweet man who is technologically challenged. Needs an email for people to correspond with him but I deal with it.
Financial – All financial information goes to this email – statements from credit cards, bank info, etc. Once I get my personal email under control, I may combine these emails.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you found some helpful information while you were here.

I have almost 10,000 mails right now in my box. I like subscribing to authors but only need like 1 a week at most. I am just overloaded and can not catch up.

Oh my!! That will be me if I don’t purge! Start small – unsubscribe from 10 a day. Thanks for stopping by to comment!
